Picky eaters make these changes extra tough. My favorite way to feel like I am winning at cleaner eating is to get at least ONE super food shake in my son a day. I pack it with as much stuff as I can- a plant based unsweetened “milk,” a quality plant based chocolate protein, a whole banana, a big scoop of cashew or almond butter and I add a few supplements in it. This chocolate/nut butter/banana shake is tasty and it packs a mean health punch. You can change this up to suit your child’s taste buds….add spinach when they aren’t looking. If you include them in the process of making it, it also helps them be a part of the choice and understand why nutrition is so important.
